Cuelist Quick Start

One-page cheat sheet to get the pedal running on stage quickly.

Navigation & Controls

  • Single Tap: Advance to the next section.

  • Double Tap: Return to the previous section.

  • Long Press: Skip to the next song.

  • Touchscreen Gestures:

    • Swipe Up: Next section
    • Swipe Down: Previous section
    • Swipe Left: Previous song
    • Swipe Right: Next song

Connecting to the Editor

  1. Open the companion web editor in your browser at Cuelist Editor.
  2. Connect Cuelist to your device via USB-C or Bluetooth.
  3. Click the Connect button in the editor toolbar, select your Cuelist device, and manage your setlists.

Hardware Summary

  • MIDI DIN 5: Standard MIDI output (unpowered).
  • USB: Class-compliant MIDI, can power the pedal, used for editor syncing and firmware updates.
  • Bluetooth: Wireless Bluetooth MIDI communication and editor syncing.
  • 9V DC (center negative): Pedalboard power (less than 500 mA). USB + 9V are safe to connect simultaneously.

Quick Tips

  • Syncing setlist updates the pedal's memory instantly and persists when disconnected.
  • Practice the double-tap timing before a gig for reliable back-step detection.
  • Export setlists as JSON in the editor for backups.
