Cuelist Quick Start

One-page cheat sheet to get the pedal running on stage quickly.

Boot & Modes

  • Default: Performance Mode — teleprompter-style setlist view.
  • Edit Mode: long-press footswitch during boot or long-press touchscreen.

Connecting to the Editor

  1. Enter Edit Mode on the pedal.
  2. Scan the QR code on the pedal screen to join its Wi‑Fi (the QR contains the AP credentials).
  3. Open a browser and go to http://cuelist.local. If that fails, use the IP address shown on the pedal screen.

Controls (Quick)

  • Footswitch: tap = next section, double-tap (fast) = previous section, long-press = skip song, long-press during boot = Edit mode.
  • Touchscreen: swipe up/down = section, left/right = prev/next song, long-press = Edit mode.
  • Exit Edit mode: single tap on screen or footswitch.

Hardware Summary

  • MIDI DIN 5: output only (unpowered).
  • USB: class-compliant MIDI, can power the pedal, used by the web updater.
  • 9V DC (center negative): pedalboard power (less than 500 mA). USB + 9V safe to connect simultaneously.

Updater (Quick)

  • Editor -> Firmware/Updater -> choose version from dropdown (fetched from GitHub releases) -> update.

Quick Tips

  • Syncing setlist reboots the pedal and disconnects the editor temporarily.
  • Practice double-tap timing before a gig.
  • Export setlists as JSON for backup.
